Fifty years ago, 11 people in Midland gathered to launch an effort to provide continued economic prosperity to the Midland community. These 11 founders made a collective, grassroots investment to create the Midland Economic Development Corporation, and since 1963, the mission and vision have remained the same, even though the name has changed. We are proud to have served the Midland Community for 50 years, and are celebrating the anniversary of our founding with a ribbon-cutting!
