Midland County and its municipalities are home to a wide choice of lenders, including Chemical Bank, PNC Bank, Wolverine Bank, Comerica Bank, Wildfire Credit Union and Dow Chemical Employees’ Credit Union.

PACE Financing
Midland County has established a Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) district, meaning eligible non-residential properties can qualify for long-term (up to a 20 year payback), low-interest financing for efficiency upgrades that will cut their energy costs.

Training Funds
The state of Michigan's Skilled Trades Training Fund (STTF) is a funding resource for businesses with training needs.

Applications are accepted each fall for the competitive grants. Interested Midland County businessess should contact Midland Tomorrow or Great Lakes Bay MichiganWorks! in the summer to begin the application process.
